Notes of morello cherry and black pepper point to the grape varieties in this blend, respectively Grenache and Syrah. With aeration, the bouquet also reveals a touch of graphite and spice. The juicy attack leads into a compact, powerful wine that combines richness with character. Driven by a vigorous structure and firm tannins, it calls for some softening, which it will undoubtedly achieve after a short period in the cellar. A powerful, well-structured wine.

Tasting note from the Jancis Robinson Team Author and wine critic, voted “World’s Best Wine Critics 2024”.
A dark, perfumed nose that fades on the palate in favour of silky fruit, before reappearing on the finish, leaving a long, persistent impression of harmony. The wine is deep and rich. Notes of roasted red plums and bay leaf, lifted by very gentle spices of cinnamon and clove. The tannins seem sculpted from travertine. A restrained power, beautifully contained. Remarkably elegant!
